Jordan Woods-Robinson (1).png

Jordan grew up in East Tennessee on a 100-acre animal rescue farm. This may explain why he associates with animals more than people (or at least explains his excellent animal impersonations.) As a rat-tailed fiddle player, Jordan worked as a professional fiddle player in Pigeon Forge until he moved to NYC for college. He now lives in Atlanta, GA with his wife, Julie and their 2 kiddos.

Jordan, the Person

As an actor, Jordan is best known for The Walking Dead, Homeland, Nashville, and as a Blue Man for 13 years. With a BFA with Honors from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, Jordan's physically-based theatrical training has to led to chameleon-like performances opposite Anthony Hopkins, Colin Farrell, Clare Danes, Donald Sutherland, Andrew Lincoln, Connie Britton, Octavia Spencer, Michelle Dockery, Colin O'Donoghue, and more.

Jordan is currently filming a Series Regular role in Oklahoma City and is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA.

Jordan, the Actor

Jordan, the Coach

As an Acting Coach, Jordan translates his theatrical training for Film and TV actors, empowering them to get into their bodies and out of their heads. He teaches tools from his NYU training, his Blue Man career, and his 15 years of Film and TV experience, as well as using human psychology and personal mindfulness as springboards into the work.

A firm believer of harnessing impulse as a tool, Jordan emplores his actors to trust their guts, to work on their feet, to bend rules, and, overall, to do what is right for them in this moment. In addition to some of his own acting tools such as "Conspiracy Theories" and "The Line," actors who work with Jordan explore techniques by Jerzy Grotowski, Laban, Viewpoints, Harold Guskin, Chekhov, and Stanislavski.

Jordan has helped actors book series regulars and leads, and everything else.
