(Ok, so yes, this is a direct ripoff of The Great British Baking Show. But only because it is AWESOME.)

One of my most popular classes, TGATO is 10 actors working on a new genre or challenge with each self-tape. I provide the script and instructions, you turn it in by the deadline, and I provide extensive feedback covering your setup, your overall technique, the challenge-specific tools, and I also name a "winner" for that challenge.

For each challenge, you get a personalized video of me giving feedback on your tape in real time, usually lasting about 10-20 minutes. You also receive all of the other actors' feedback tapes in case you'd like to learn from them.

You also get a TV Show-esque summary of the highlights, the individuals' struggles, the strategies, the trends, and the announcement of the winner. (This way you don't have to watch everyone else's tapes, if you don't want to.)

At the end of the class, I will name an overall champion, who will win a free year of Masters of Self-Taping (MOST), a $997 value.

CLASS RUNS in February 2026 and costs $200 for the full class. It's 100% virtual.

FAQ

 Why do you say "No schedule?"

We will not have a weekly class time so you don't have to block time out of your schedule to participate. You submit the challenge by the deadline, and I post the feedback and TV show the following day. You can do all of it within the comfort of your own schedule! (Tapes are due Monday and Thursday by midnight, EST. Feedback is delivered on Tuesday and Friday.)

Can I just observe?

Yes! You can sign up to only receive the TV show summary each challenge. You don't work on scripts but you get to watch the edited version of others working on scripts. And it's 100% free! Sign up below.

How do we get the materials?

All actors will use Google Classroom to access the scripts and instructions. They will also upload their tapes back to Classroom and receive a grade/feedback through Classroom.

Do people get removed each week, like other competition shows?

No, everyone will stick around all 8 challenges. 

Is it open to all ages?

Yes, and... I love working with actors of all ages but guardians of minors should know that most of the participants will be adults and working on industry-realistic scripts. Because of that, I recommend all participants are 14+.

Masters of Self-Taping (MOST) is my online community of courses and weekly meetings. You work through the 100+ lessons at your own pace and I check in with you each week to see what you need.
